Meet Dr. Tariq Sheikh

Dr. Tariq Mohammed Sheikh, MD, is a dedicated pediatrician at Riversbend - Enon Pediatrics in Chester, Virginia, bringing over 46 years of clinical practice to his compassionate patient care. After earning his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan, serving in the Army Medical Corps, and completing advanced post-graduate training in Ireland, he moved to New York to complete his pediatric residency and a fellowship in Medical Genetics at SUNY Downstate / Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn New York. Fluent in English, Hindi, Semi-Spanish, Urdu and Punjabi Dr. Sheikh routinely goes above and beyond for every Child he serves offering thorough exams, patient explanations, when his young patients need him most. Dr. Sheikh loves literature, poetry, swimming and meeting new friends.  Beyond his lifelong devotion to medicine, he is a proud parent and grandparent who cherishes spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, whom he loves dearly.
